Come Dine With Us (recording event ticket)

from Hope and Social

Ticket + Digital Album

March 27th 2010, The Crypt, West Yorkshire, UK.

Roll up, roll up, it's another Hope and Social event at the wonderful Crypt in West Yorkshire where, for one night only, we're turning our home and recording studio into a French bistro and you are invited.

To help us finish off our new album we're hosting 'Come Dine With Us' - a gastronomic extravaganza where you get to come and record an album track with us, make a music video, and indulge in three courses of finest Hope and Social home cooking. The band will wait on you hand and foot, as well as playing some of your favorite H&S tracks at your table as you wine and dine the night away.

We'll end the night recording a new song for the album with your good selves on backing vocals and random instrumentation! Oh yeah.

Believe it or not, the Come Dine With Us (invitation song) is the basis for the song we will be recording on the night. (have a listen if you haven't already!)

We would also like you to help us create some special artwork to capture the night, so dig out your crayons, felt tips and pencil cases and bring them along. Actually, that's not all we will be asking you to bring along....more of that good stuff nearer the time.

Get some friends together, and come for a meal out you will never forget.

Tickets are limited, so it's first come first served. We're very excited.

(wine not included in ticket price, there will be a choice of food options, we'll be taking your order via email nearer the time)

Includes unlimited streaming of Come Dine With Us via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

about

Hope and Social Leeds

In the tradition of the travelling bands, we guess we’re a bit like a Yorkshire E-Street Band...meets Arcade Fire...meets The Faces…meets Dexys Midnight Runners…meets Prefab Sprout…at a party...in an argument about who gets to have sex with David Bowie. We're not as good at describing ourselves as others are, so...
